If you’re looking to combine professional with social activities, we have more than a dozen faculty-led student groups in the College of Business. Belmont alumni have accepted offers from such employers as Asurion, Affinion Group, Caterpillar Financial, Cumberland Heights, Hospital Corporation of America , Keller Williams, Lifepoint Hospitals, Tennessee Golf Foundation and Tyson Foods Inc. Eligible Missouri State undergraduate students in the College of Business may apply for admission to the Cybersecurity program and begin taking graduate course work as they complete the work for a bachelor’s degree. A maximum of six hours of graduate credit may be counted toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree .

Students choose classes from accounting, economics, finance and business law, information technology, management, marketing, occupational safety, and supply chain. During the course of their studies, students have the option of changing their major to specialize in a specific area or to remain in the general business major and graduate with a respected business degree from UW-Whitewater. A Safety and Risk Management emphasisis also available for the General Business major.

With course options in economics, data analytics, finance and professional development, you will receive all the tools you need to successfully navigate your future. The General Business major provides an overview and fundamental working knowledge of the varied aspects of business. Drexel Women in Business strives to provide its members with resources and opportunities to succeed in business, with a focus on the female professional.

Through courses that can count towards degree requirements students can spend 1-3 weeks immersing themselves in a foreign country and meeting professionals from different business industries. The CAGLE Center offers approximately 20+ trips yearly for students to explore the world. In addition to the Co-op program, other experiential learning opportunities abound at LeBow, including consulting courses, case competitions, international residencies, research projects, industry thought leader events, alumni mentorship and more. LeBow's MS and MBA dual degree programs offer graduates the benefit of a cross-discipline advanced business education, enhancing their careers with two degrees. A traditional bachelor’s in businesscan take up to four years, and an MBAup to three.

Through the Drexel Co-op program, general business majors alternate six months of classroom learning with six months of full-time professional experience through Drexel-approved employers. With plans of study that allow for up to three co-ops, students can gain as much as 18 months of practical, hands-on experience in the workplace, applying what they’ve learned in real-world settings long before graduation. But concentrations and different types of business degrees can help turn an interest into a career. Some example positions include network systems administrator, marketing manager, GIS technician, environmental compliance analyst and public relations specialist. Dedicated to helping any Drexel University student with an interest in business, regardless of major, to become a leader in the business world. List and explain the foundations upon which business is built and the economic challenges facing the United States. Describe the basic accounting system and how it is used to serve business needs. This course first provides a comprehensive survey of the ethical issues challenging professional and corporate conduct in today's business world.

Perhaps you know where you will work, like in a family business, and know its needs. Time Value of Money is applied to decision making in business and personal finance. Additionally, students learn common ouslet valuation techniques and financial planning. You will notice that there are a few courses that every degree requires because they give a strong foundation to whichever career path that you might choose.

All of which allow students to stay in shape, show off their UHD Gator spirit, bond through teamwork and just plain have some fun. In addition to gaining the general business knowledge you need from the classroom, you will also be directed to take an internship as part of your degree plan. Internships provide realworld experiences to help make valuable industry connections for life after college. Students receive a broad and generalized understanding of the function of business and how the various sub-disciplines of business interact to contribute to the success of an organization. Students select courses across all business sub-disciplines, obtaining an understanding of the field of business. Courses are selected within a particular sub-discipline to develop specialized knowledge of a particular area of business.
